How we review
Every clinical page on Kindr passes through a 5-step review before publication and is re-reviewed at least once a year.
Last updated: May 10, 2026.
A clinical editor scopes the page against current NAMS, ACOG, Endocrine Society, and FDA guidance to define the questions a patient is most likely to ask, the conditions and medications involved, and the safety information that must appear.
Drafts are written using primary sources only — peer-reviewed journals, society position statements, FDA labels, and federal health agencies. Every clinical claim is footnoted to a specific source. AI tools may assist with drafting and editing; AI never produces the final clinical claim unaided.
A second reviewer checks each citation against its source, verifies that statistics match the cited study, and confirms that off-label, compounded, or higher-risk treatments carry the appropriate disclosure.
Dr. Ana Lisa Carr, MD, MBA — Board-Certified Family Medicine, NPI 1689841744 — reviews the final page, signs off, and the page is stamped with her name, credentials, and the review date.
Every clinical page is re-reviewed at least every 12 months, or sooner if a major society guideline changes, an FDA action affects a referenced medication, or a reader reports a factual issue via editorial@kindr.health.
Medical review verifies general accuracy for a patient audience. It is not personalized medical advice. Treatment decisions require a clinician who has reviewed your individual history, medications, and lab results.
