EstroGel is a brand-name 0.06% estradiol gel applied once daily to the upper arm/shoulder.
Each pump delivers 0.75 mg of estradiol; typical starting dose is 1 pump daily (1.25 grams).
Estradiol absorbs through the skin into systemic circulation, bypassing the liver.
Produces a steady serum level when applied at the same time each day.
EstroGel is an FDA-approved brand-name product. Many Kindr patients use compounded alternatives prepared by a state-licensed 503A pharmacy when a custom dose, custom combination, or different delivery form is clinically preferable. Both pathways are available through Kindr — your provider will recommend based on your individual needs.
Upper arm and shoulder — one full arm from wrist to shoulder. Let it dry 5 minutes before dressing.
Allow the gel to dry. Avoid close skin-to-skin contact (especially with children or pregnant women) for at least an hour and ideally cover the area.
Same molecule, different delivery. Choice depends on preference, skin sensitivity, and whether daily application or weekly patch fits your routine.
