The most effective treatment for hot flashes, night sweats and bone loss. Estradiol is paired with progesterone for women who still have a uterus.
Patch or gel delivery avoids the first pass through the liver, lowering the blood-clot risk seen with oral estrogen. A common choice when clot risk factors are present.
Balances systemic estrogen to protect the uterine lining. Some women find micronized progesterone also helps with sleep onset.
Considered off-label for low desire and fatigue when testosterone is genuinely low. Requires individualized dosing and monitoring — not a general energy booster.
Targets vaginal dryness, pain with sex and recurrent UTIs with minimal systemic absorption. Often suitable for women who cannot, or prefer not to, take systemic hormones.
Considered for midlife weight management. Adequate protein and resistance training matter while taking them, to protect lean muscle.
An NK3 receptor antagonist approved for moderate-to-severe hot flashes in women who cannot, or choose not to, take hormones.
The only FDA-approved non-hormonal medication specifically for vasomotor symptoms, used at lower doses than for depression.
A blood-pressure medication that can modestly reduce hot flashes, considered when hormones are not an option.
The first-line non-drug treatment for menopause-related sleep disruption. Addresses the patterns that keep sleep broken rather than sedating.
When bone loss is significant, non-hormonal bone medications may be added alongside or instead of hormone therapy to reduce fracture risk.
Levothyroxine when hypothyroidism is confirmed. Thyroid dysfunction frequently mimics and overlaps menopause symptoms, so both should be checked.
These treatments are listed for education only and are not an offer to prescribe. Every prescription decision depends on your individual history, risk factors and current guidelines. Dietary supplements and lifestyle interventions are not equivalent to prescription medication. Nothing here diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents disease.
Dot Ring
Your body changes every day. Dot should be able to learn with it.
Dot Ring is designed to be the wearable connection between your day-to-day physiological signals and the Dot experience — so patterns are recognised rather than remembered.
Night-by-night sleep patterns and how they shift over weeks.
Daily readiness trends, so hard days are recognised as hard.
Movement and training load across the week.
Resting trends over time rather than single readings.
Relative overnight temperature patterns.
A quieter overnight mode built for disrupted midlife sleep.
Signals handed to Dot so context improves as it learns your baseline.
Dot Ring is in development and is not yet available to buy. It is intended for general wellness and is not a medical device.
Dot is the intelligence layer underneath Explore — it connects what you tell us with what we can show you.
