The Name

D.O.T. — Deep Observational Therapeutics.

Every word in the name was chosen to describe exactly what Dot does — and what she will become.

This is not a cute nickname. It is a clinical statement.

D
Deep
The Intelligence Layer
Dot does not retrieve information. She reasons through it. The clinical knowledge embedded in Dot reaches depths that general AI tools do not carry — because Dot was built for one subject, by people who understand that subject clinically. Depth is the difference between an answer that is technically correct and one that is actually useful.
O
Observational
The Memory Layer
Dot watches. She tracks symptoms over time, recognizes patterns that emerge across weeks and months, and builds a picture of each woman's hormonal health that a 15-minute appointment cannot capture. Observation is what turns individual data points into clinical insight.
T
Therapeutics
The Clinical Mission
Dot is not a wellness app. She is not a symptom checker. She is a therapeutic intelligence — a clinical companion whose purpose is to move women closer to the care that will actually help them. Every conversation Dot has is in service of one outcome: a woman who understands her body and knows what to do about it.

Three words. One purpose. Better care for every woman who deserves it.

V1.0 — Available Now

Dot is live. Ask her anything.

This is not a demo. This is not a simulation. This is Dot — powered by the same clinical intelligence that will run every future version of the platform. Ask her about your symptoms, your treatment options, or anything about menopause you have been unable to get a straight answer on.

Dot
Deep Observational Therapeutics · V1.0
Hello. I am Dot. Ask me anything about perimenopause, menopause, HRT, symptoms, or hormone testing. I will give you a straight answer. What is on your mind?
The Difference

Not a general AI.
Not a wellness chatbot.
Something built for one purpose.

General AI Tools
Trained on everything. Knows a little about menopause the way it knows a little about tax law and medieval history.
vs
D.O.T.
Trained specifically on menopause. NAMS guidelines. Current HRT research. FDA guidance. kindr clinical protocols. Nothing else dilutes the knowledge.
General AI Tools
Resets with every conversation. You explain your symptoms from scratch every single time.
vs
D.O.T.
Observational by design. Dot builds a picture of your hormonal health over time. Every conversation builds on the last.
General AI Tools
Generates answers that sound confident whether they are correct or not. No clinical accountability.
vs
D.O.T.
Knows the boundary between health information and clinical care. States it clearly. Never pretends to be a physician. Routes to one when needed.
General AI Tools
Optimized for engagement. Keeps you in the conversation. Not necessarily closer to care.
vs
D.O.T.
Optimized for outcomes. Every conversation moves a woman closer to understanding her body or toward the clinical care that will actually help.
The Technology

What powers Dot.

We will tell you what we can. Some of it we will keep to ourselves.

01
Claude — Anthropic
Dot's reasoning layer is powered by Claude — one of the most capable and safety-focused large language models available. Claude was chosen specifically for its performance on medical reasoning tasks and its approach to handling sensitive health information responsibly.
02
kindr Clinical Protocol Layer
Every response Dot gives passes through a clinical protocol layer developed by kindr's physician team. This layer defines what Dot knows, how she applies it, where the boundaries of her scope are, and when she routes to clinical care. This is the layer we built. This is what makes Dot different from a Claude wrapper.
03
NAMS Guidelines — 2023
The North American Menopause Society clinical position statements form the evidence backbone of Dot's knowledge. These are the gold standard guidelines for menopause care — Dot knows them in full and applies them in context.
04
IBM Watson NLP — Coming V1.5
The next version of Dot integrates IBM Watson's natural language processing for symptom extraction and classification. When a woman describes how she feels, Watson identifies the clinical categories — hormonal, sleep-related, cognitive — and surfaces patterns that inform both Dot's responses and the kindr care team.
05
The part we keep to ourselves
There is a layer of Dot's intelligence that we have built and will not describe here. Not because it is speculative — it exists, it works, and it is what produces the depth of response that distinguishes Dot from every other health AI tool we have tested. We are protective of it for competitive reasons. The women who use Dot understand what we mean when they experience it.

The standard for menopause AI globally

The vision for Dot is simple.

The average woman spends seven years in perimenopause before her periods stop. Seven years of symptoms that are frequently misdiagnosed, undertreated, or simply dismissed.

Seven years is a long time to feel like a stranger in your own body.

Dot exists to close that gap. Not by replacing physicians. Not by pretending AI is the same as clinical care. But by ensuring that every woman — regardless of where she lives, what her insurance covers, or whether her doctor has four hours or four minutes — has access to the knowledge she needs to understand what is happening to her and what she can do about it.

V1.0 is the beginning. The roadmap above is what we are building toward. The version we have not described yet is what we are working on beyond that.

D.O.T. — Deep Observational Therapeutics. Built by kindr Health. Built for every woman who deserved better and did not get it.
