How does kindr protect my health data?

kindr complies with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). All protected health information (PHI) is encrypted in transit using SSL/TLS and encrypted at rest. We do not sell your health information to third parties. Access to your data is restricted to your care team and kindr staff on a need-to-know basis. Does kindr sell my data?

No. kindr does not sell, rent, or share your personal health information with advertisers or data brokers. Your information is used only to provide your care, process payments, fulfill prescriptions, and improve the kindr platform. See kindr.health/privacy for the complete Privacy Policy.

How do I access my health records?

Accepted Answer

You have the right to access your health records under HIPAA. Submit a written request to support@kindr.health with subject line 'Health Records Request'. We will respond within 30 days. A reasonable fee may apply for copies.

How do I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

To request account deletion email support@kindr.health with subject line 'Account Deletion Request'. We will process your request within 30 days. Note that we are required by law to retain certain medical records for a minimum period. These records will be maintained securely and separately from your active account data.

What if I think my privacy rights were violated?

Contact our Privacy Officer at support@kindr.health with subject line 'Privacy Complaint'. You also have the right to file a complaint with the US Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights at hhs.gov/ocr/privacy/hipaa/complaints. You will not be retaliated against for filing a complaint.
